Heading out from Bowden Bridge, famous for the mass trespass of 1932, we made our way around Kinder Reservoir. The short scramble up Red Brook gully was exciting and gave some wonderful views looking back over the Reservoir.
Following Kinder Edge, we enjoyed magnificent views over Edale valley before arriving at the top of Crowden Clough. We then headed out across the Kinder plateau for some bog hopping over the peat groughs.
Winding our way along Kinder Gate, we arrived at the Downfall. The wind was blowing a hoolie forcing water up and shrouding us in a fine mist. From Sandy Heys we dropped down the ridge back to Boden Bridge and a well-earned drink in the Sportsman pub.
